After upgrading to Windows Server 2008 R2, you will need to uninstall the current WinConnect Server VS software (even though you may have installed the latest WinConnect Server VS software version), restart Windows and re-install with the latest WinConnect Server VS software version.
Note: You may need to re-register WinConnect Server VS again using the same primary serial number that was originally registered on the same PC as the installation of Windows Server 2008 R2 may have affected the WinConnect Server VS licensing.
Windows Server 2008 R2 Remote Desktop Support:
The Remote Desktop feature on the Windows Server 2008 R2 Host computer need to be enabled so that Remote Desktop users can login into the computer using Remote Desktop connection.
On the Windows desktop, select Main Menu Start Button (on the Panel) => Settings => Control Panel => System and Security.
Under "Windows Firewall", select "Allow a program through Windows Firewall" and check the box "Remote Desktop" under "Allowed Programs and Features".
